Evostance
My hardware is in my sig however im trying to run this inside VMWare as it emulates your hardware. Hopefully if I can get it working in VM it will work normally. Anyway I mount BOOT-KABLY-BUMBY.iso and run VMW. I get to darwin and get the screen. I hit enter and I get to the screen asking about the 2digit hexidecimal boot device. Now, I change the ISO to the retail copy of Leopard in DMG format Then I type in 9F and it goes back to the Darwin screen. No matter how many times I try or how many different bootloaders, I still have the same problem. I've read multiple tutorials on getting it to run in VMWare but am having no such luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175045-cant-even-get-past-darwin/ Share on other sites
ntsmkfob
Try typing 80 instead of 9f. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175045-cant-even-get-past-darwin/#findComment-1201727 Share on other sites
Daveta
why are you emulating and not try a true, original, install? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175045-cant-even-get-past-darwin/#findComment-1201735 Share on other sites
