Tamed G
Any help greatly appreciated. After doing a Kalyway install my partition labels are all messed up in Vista now and vista will not load my profile properly as it insists on mounting my OS Partition as (D:) rather than (C:) even though no other partitions are mounted in vista. I have gone through the Vista startup disk process of making my vista partition active and rebuilding the MBR and Boot sectors but it still does the same thing. I even nuked my Kalyway partition in the hope of getting Vista working again but still no joy. I tired to look for a repair optionon the Vista recovery disk but it just wants to archive my old installation and install a new one. The only partitions I have now are... (0,0) where the MBR is stored (I think, it's a dell M1530 and came with a 94mb mini partition at 0,0) (0,1) where the Vista installation lives Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/175034-please-help-mbr-messed-up-drive-labels/ Share on other sites
Stone-D
Try setting your mini partition as HIDDEN. I can't recommend methods to do this other than parition magic, which i use via a usb boot key.
