flyingroti Posted July 12, 2009 Share Posted July 12, 2009 Hi all, I just moved my stereo system in my room with my computer and am trying to use the SPDIF out to get digital audio from my system. I am running an efi-x system, 10.5.7, with the asus p5w dh deluxe mobo. I have always used the taruga patch to get analog audio working just fine. Now I plugged in the coax digital, selected "built in digital audio" in system prefs, and the sound works beautifully. However I have no output controls. In system prefs it says "the selected device has no output controls." Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! striggell Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 There are no output controls as you're now sending a digital signal to your amp. You use your amp to control you volume etc now.
