node64 Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 I have recently installed 10.4.6 and since then every so often my keyboard and mouse cut out, they work again as soon as i unplug them and then plug them bac in. i have an amd system with sse3 and an nforce 3 chipset, is this a known problem, i tried searching but nothing appropriate came up? Antman Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 may need to replace the IOUSBFamilly.kext with your older one from 10.4.3 install.. you will need to get this from your original developer disk to get this going. node64 Posted May 15, 2006 Author Share Posted May 15, 2006 it isnt macvidia, i did a clean install and it still does it without the drivers. im gonna try using the mouse and keyboard through a usb -> ps2 adaptor can a keyboard work like this? i aint using a usb hub im also gonna look at my bios settings.. what setups do u both have?
