froSTed
Greetings my fellow Mac Nuts! I am looking for a way to get 1440x900x32 on my ATI x300 mobility. I am up to 10.4.5. Does anyone know how to do this? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17305-1440x900x32-how/ Share on other sites

- Doogie
I would love that as well as that is the native resolution on my HP ZD8230us notebook... It still is nice but pictures not so streched would at least be better.. I tried the editing file trick however its no worky... I wish that ATi would release mac drivers for it all but you know they wont do that for any reason.... solaar
Well... I've read that some brilliant mind is working on ATI drivers that will increase compatibility with the cards out there, so hopefully the widescreen resolutions will be supported too. For now it's wait and see. Proper resolution is also the main reason for me why I'm having a break on this OSX thing. After an hour or so, 1024x768 on a 1280x800 makes my head feel like this --> laterz sol Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17305-1440x900x32-how/#findComment-112665 Share on other sites
