Hi everyone! I love the site.

I'm new here. I managed to install iDeneb 10.5.5 with the StageXNU kernel (9.4.0). It was the only kernel that worked. I want to upgrade somehow to 10.5.7 or to do a Retail installation.

I tried all the iDeneb 10.5.6 kernels and the 10.5.7 update with Voodoo, Vanilla and Anv kernel but without success.

I even downloaded the new iAtkos v7, but again - nothing.

I read on some other threads that people managed to do an iDeneb 10.5.6 Vanilla install and then upgrade to 10.5.7, but it's not working for me.

With all other kernels (except for the StageXNU 9.4.0) I get the starting screen for a second and then a quick reboot.

I have basically these questions:

- Is there someone willing to share his method to install a Retail OSX on the same MOBO step by step? (I read the P6T Delux v2 thread, but I cannot install the Voodoo kernel )

- Do I need to change my BIOS in order to do the install. If yes how can I modify the BIOS. Can I edit the BIOS rom file myself?

- How come only StageXNU kernel works?

Thanks in advance,

Neonized

My system:

Intel Core i7 920

Asus P6T SE (Bios 0403 latest official)

Nvidia 9500 GT

4GB Adata RAM

i have mine working retail 10.5 and the boot disk that stupid and smart posted up piece of cake with the instructions from the p6t rampage post

Good to hear you got it all working! Congrats!

Could you perhaps post links to the topics/posts you used? I cant seem to find a rampage post which contains good instructions; do you perhaps mean the big P6T Deluxe guide?

I also searched through smart & stupid's post, but he didn't post any boot disk? Which one did you use?

I've been struggling with the install on my p6t-se for a few months now. Hope you can help me out! Thanks!
