I wanted to buy a macbook pro but than I saw I can get a killer pc laptop at the same price or even lower...

If I'm not buying a macbook pro I think I will get one of these options:

HP Tx2z

HP HDX 16t or 18t

I've googled for them but there is no conclusion...

which are the best for osx86? (and please don't answer MBP :) )

Do you recommend another laptop around 1500$ which is compatible?

I have a Desktop PC computer that runs osx 10.5.7 so I have a background in hackintosh..

Thanks

I don't see what makes these laptops "killer". Especially compared to a MBP. The TX2Z has:

-An el cheapo AMD CPU (definitely not a good choice for building a hackintosh)

-slower RAM

-ATI GPU (also not the best for hackintosh)

-is all around a rather cheap computer

The HP HDX 16t has:

-An Intel Core2Duo (much much better)

-nVidia GPU

-Much more HDD space

-Still has slower RAM than MBP but has an impressive amount of it.

HP HDX WINS!!!!

But I'd still go with the MBP, as Apple has some of the best build quality and HP, well... certainly doesn't. Let's just say HP went from "By engineers, for engineers" to "By business men, to foolish consumers" And their support is just terrible. Not that you'd get much support while running OSX. Good luck.
