Hi,

I have iPC 10.5.6 installed successfully now and I am posting from it right now (YAY!). However, when I move a window around it doesnt update. Right clicking on the background prompts and immediate window update and it redraws correctly.

Also, in Safari, when I scroll down on the apple home page, only the bottom 100 pixels of the window update while the rest is stationary. Right clicking again updates the drawing of the window.

I'm sure this has to do with the video driver but I don't know what to do about it. I have an nVidia Quadro NVS 140 and I assume I am just using the vesa driver.

Any help?

Thanks!

Thanks both of you for replying. I do appreciate it.

My laptop has the nVidia Quadro NVS 140M card and as far as I can tell (being three days new to this scene) there is no driver for it so I am assuming it's using a generic vesa driver. I really don't know how or where to update the driver so a pointer would be appreciated. It has 128M dedicated memory but can use shared memory as well. Does anyone know if any of the nVidia drivers work for my card?

System Profiler says

QE not supported. This I'm betting is because I don't have an nVidia driver? Yes?

CI : Software

It also says I have 32M VRAM total but the Quadro NVS 140M has 128M.

Ideas?
