( delete your previous installation ? ) Why are using a older version btw ? If you have a fast connection then put the latest one on DL and sleep it out Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170538-ipc-1056-recommend-me-customize-settings-video-clip/#findComment-1177781 Share on other sites

gazepo
Burn your dvd @ x2 if possible. If not x4. Use Voodoo, your chipset and the seatbelt fix for a start. Then go ahead for the other devices. popUP
i burned dvd at the slowest speed possible x2 i made partition and formatted .i used voodo and seatbelt fix and a chipset driver.no other devices/drivers. .then installed. i heard harddrive writing for about 3 seconds into the install then i got a yellow triangle saying failed to install. i did try and save a error report on my second try but after 2 hours trying to save one and trying to extract the .txt file in windows it dident work.(windows detected the harddrive but wouldn't show it in my computer so couldn't even get into the harddrive.probably because its not ntfs format.i did try to format the second partision with the .text error file on but said failed every time i tried.. one of the errors i remember from the .txt file was (unable to copy package source file/system/installation/package/system.pkg/content.bom to destination/volume/eapaard/system also im not sure on what chipset to use? any one recommend me one? 4 days now and i spent 8 solid hours to day trying to get this ipc up and running lol got to the point were i was trying every chipset/kernel just guessing really lol its 2:30 in the morning here now ill try again tomorrow 100th time lucky i called the partition Leapard no spaces Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170538-ipc-1056-recommend-me-customize-settings-video-clip/#findComment-1178782 Share on other sites
MGJulius
When the install fails press cmd(win key) + L bring up the installer log. From there you can see where your installation went bad Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170538-ipc-1056-recommend-me-customize-settings-video-clip/#findComment-1178845 Share on other sites

gazepo
OK I found 2 points. 1. In partitioning options select GUID 2. You will have to re-partition the disk using a new name (like MacOSX) because using the same name for some times causing the disk to appear like an empty page (3:34 of your video) under "Select a Destination". If you give an other name you will see that it will show your destination with a real disk image.
