i have now managed to get it installed but when pc re boots and tries to load leapard i get the crossed out circle. and the loading icon just keeps on animating.. is thsi because am using a pci graphics card?

It's because you didn't install your chipset driver.... check the correct driver in the chipset location

thanks for that mate.. i tried diffrent chipset drivers in customize but now it fails to install leapard again. is there a list of things i have to make sure i tick in customize? i did google it but no look

How did you install different drivers ?

Did you format the partition ? ( delete your previous installation ? )

Why are using a older version btw ? If you have a fast connection then put the latest one on DL and sleep it out

i installed drivers in (customize) amd patch and SpeedStep 9.2 Kernel -that installed perfectly but when booted the os i got the circle with cross in it below the apple logo..i deleted my previous installation. then formatted and made a new MBR partition :(

i could only find this old version.i do have a fast connection and will download the new one if i can find it. could you help me find it? :)

downloading iPC 10.5.6 now :P will give it a try and get back to you thanks for your help up2 now mate!:)

could you post your last comment again please mate telling me which kernal and drivers i needed to select once iv downloaded iPC 10.5.6.. your comment seems to of disapeard ;)

downloading now :) will give it a try and get back to you thanks for your help up2 now mate!:)

just downloaded IPC taken me 2 hours to download the 4.30GBS :P i think thats not bad going i guess it pays to seed:P

ill attempt an install now :censored2: am not sure what to do in customize. do i just need the voodoo?

i burned dvd at the slowest speed possible x2

i made partition and formatted .i used voodo and seatbelt fix and a chipset driver.no other devices/drivers. .then installed. i heard harddrive writing for about 3 seconds into the install then i got a yellow triangle saying failed to install. i did try and save a error report on my second try but after 2 hours trying to save one and trying to extract the .txt file in windows it dident work.(windows detected the harddrive but wouldn't show it in my computer so couldn't even get into the harddrive.probably because its not ntfs format.i did try to format the second partision with the .text error file on but said failed every time i tried.. one of the errors i remember from the .txt file was (unable to copy package source file/system/installation/package/system.pkg/content.bom to destination/volume/eapaard/system

also im not sure on what chipset to use? any one recommend me one?

4 days now and i spent 8 solid hours to day trying to get this ipc up and running lol got to the point were i was trying every chipset/kernel just guessing really lol its 2:30 in the morning here now ill try again tomorrow 100th time lucky ;):D

i called the partition Leapard no spaces :)

what ill do mate is ill make a video ill record it installing with -v so you can see any errors because there is alot to write out by hand :D ill so ill show the error report too.. ill post link to video soon :P

OK I found 2 points.

1. In partitioning options select GUID

2. You will have to re-partition the disk using a new name (like MacOSX) because using the same name for some times causing the disk to appear like an empty page (3:34 of your video) under "Select a Destination". If you give an other name you will see that it will show your destination with a real disk image.
