MiniBUU
As I said in the topic I am running an Inspiron 1525 with the latest update. Everything runs pretty smooth until I do CPU hogging stuff such as playing Sims 3, Encoding music from mp3 to apples format, and which is weird because I never overheat when it comes to ripping/resizing dvds. It gets really hot and then starts going to sleep. Any idea what could be causing this problem. I did not have this problem on 10.5.6. Its the fact that games, or video/music encoding seems to make my laptop boil. It never done that in 10.5.6 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170209-overheating-on-dell-inspiron-1525-1057/#findComment-1174696 Share on other sites
matmatoo
4gigs on a 1525? Never knew that was even possible! I know the graphics cards in the 1525's are {censored}! As for your problem, maybe the best idea would be to go back to 10.5.6?
