  6. Hey everyone! Like many people, after using the BOOT-132 I get a black screen with my CD drive not reading snow leopard... Also another question, I'm currently running Leopard 10.5.8 and was wondering: When i attempt to install snow leopard in 10.5.8 itself, it has to reboot during installation, then i insert my boot cd and it boots into leopard 10.5.8 but the snow leopard installation doesn't continue.. Any ideas? Thanks Matt

  9. Dead Keyboard on Dell Inspiron 1525

When I install OSX on in Inspiron 1520, I use a USB mouse and keyboard until I install controller kexts to make my touchpad and keyboard work. I'm afraid getting hold of a usb keyboard is the only solution I can give. Matt
  10. The Sims 3 on Hackintosh

Really?? Sims 3 runs beautifully on my Dell Inspiron 1520 Leopard 10.5.7 Retail version!
  11. 4gigs on a 1525? Never knew that was even possible! I know the graphics cards in the 1525's are {censored}! As for your problem, maybe the best idea would be to go back to 10.5.6?
  12. How much RAM do you have? My mate plays Sims 3 on her 1525 which is on windows and she finds the 1525 struggles to run Sims!
  13. Have you ever considered installing a Retail version of Leopard on your machine? It enables you to update direct from apple, and I'm running 10.5.7 and will upgrade to 10.6 when it's released.
  14. Chameleon 2 rc1

I have the same problem, I installed Chameleon 2 and dropped the special bootloader kexts from my bootable cd into the Extra folder yet when I turn on my laptop it just hangs at a black screen and doesn't even load Chameleon, any ideas?? -Matt
