whaledawg
Did you install kernel in first installation? What do you mean? I'm doing a full re-install every time. I don't know how to do it any other way. And with every install I'm choosing the vodoo kernel and the seatbelt fix. gazepo
OK listen. Do again a full re-installation. Before start installation, open disk utility when appears on top on the Welcome screen. Select your HDD on the left and go to the partition tab. Under Volume Scheme select 1 Partition. Click Options and select GUID. In name write Macintosh. Format =Mac OS Extended (journaled) and Apply Select destination Then customize. Leave the Base system selected Leave Lang. unselected Select Voodoo + seatbelt fix AND NOTHING MORE We will add chipset later. I'm trying to figure out what you will solve with this...if there is an error in the installation bring up the installer log (cmd + L) to see whats wrong with the install Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169916-what-configuration-options-do-i-need/page/2/#findComment-1176050 Share on other sites
gazepo
I'm trying to figure out what you will solve with this...if there is an error in the installation bring up the installer log (cmd + L) to see whats wrong with the install I know it looks really weird!!! but in many cases even you are trying to install the right kernel, the installation stop responding. This mostly happens when using an IDE CD-Drive. Could not find why yet, but for sure that solution help in many cases.
