I just got this started today, so I know very little about it. Is it normal that you cannot install apps or something? I wasn't sure so I tried to install Firefox anyway. Right away it crashed with a bunch of text asking me to send a photo of the screen to the Voodoo kernal devs. Is that normal? somewhere in the text is said "kernal panic" is that the same type of kernal panic I read mentioned on this forum?

Hmm, I don't see that listed in iPC, the only "seatbelt" I see says 10.5.5 in the Fixes and Patches section. So if I find a 9.5.0 version of that how do I get it installed? Thanks.

Of course I don't have to be using Voodoo. If I just not check any kernel off will it run 10.5.6 "vanilla"?

Thanks for the info. I figured I would try it anyway and of course it worked. I also thought I would switch to the 9.4 StageXNU Universal kernel instead of the Voodoo one. The description sounded like I would have the best chances with that one. I actually don't see any difference so I guess it didn't matter that much.
