eastbayarb
I have a EP45-UD3P gigabyte motherboard and installed iAtkos v5i and I forgot to enable the ps/2 driver so now I am stuck using a USB keyboard and mouse. I thought that was fine before since I had a USB keyboard and mouse, but now that I want to use this computer with my 4-port KVM setup (which of course, connects to ps/2 ports) which is connected to my 3 other machines, is there a way to enable ps/2 compatibility to my 10.5.5 hackintosh without having to reinstall it again? gazepo
You can boot from your dvd and in customize section select only the fix you need. DOUBLE CHECK that ONLY the fix is selected. SticMAC™
You can plug in a USB keyboard and add the kext OR Use the Install DVD Important to remember, there are TWO PS2 fixes for you to select(iPC9 if you read the bootm description it will say: if you want KEYBOARD AND MOUSE pick the FIRST one ONLY if you want MOUSE pick the SECOND one ONLY if you BOTH still nothing will work! SticMAC You can boot from your dvd and in customize section select only the fix you need. DOUBLE CHECK that ONLY the fix is selected. Gujal
If you have the USB Kbd and mouse working, just download the VoodooPS2controller installer from Voodooprojects and install it. Shutdown, connect your PS2 Keyboard and Mouse and power up. It should work now.
