bbchucks Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 hi using a retail 10.5.7 install with netkas script for my ati 4870 sapphire card. i have two monitors, 1 connected via dvi and the other via VGA. the VGA monitor does not get detected. does anyone know how i can get dual monitor display working? K3G Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 No Dual-VGA with 48x0, only Dual-DVI I am using the latest Netkas stuff under 10.5.7 found here http://netkas.org/?p=104 and here.... http://netkas.org/?p=103 And i have one monitor connected via a DVI to VGA adapter and another one connected via DVI with dual displays working fine. If i had the DVI connected to the primary port (port closest to the mobo) It would not detect the VGA display, however if i connect the VGA display as the primary and the DVI as secondary it all works fine. I have a 1GB HIS HD4870 which is i believe reference (2*DVI and one TV out).
