mrpena Posted May 25, 2009 Author Share Posted May 25, 2009 so upon further inspection, it looks like my audio card is: Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD Audio Controller [8086:3a3e] which would make anything i've tried for the ALC888 null and void? also i did install a bunch of kext's with kext helper. not knowing if i should unisntall them, i haven't. would this make any future attempt to get sound working futile?
