Mandeb99
Hi Guys, Recently I successfully installed iDeneb 10.5.6 on my MSI P35 Neo-F. I had a very bad time trying to make it work because of that motherboard, I had to flash the BIOS, buy a SATA DVD among other things to make it work. Anyway, a friend of mine now wants to build a hacky and asked me which would be the best 775 socket mobo to do so. I certainly didn’t recommend the MSI P35 Neo. I saw a nice tutorial on an Asus P5K Pro, but that mobo is impossible to get here, we just can’t find it anywhere. Does an Asus P5QL-EM G43 works as well? If not, which other mobo would you recommend that we don’t have to flash BIOS or any of that other fancy things?? Thanks a lot Marcelo. Gujal
Asus P5Q has the same BIOS issues as the MSI P35 Looks like GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R is the safe bet for now, however it may require a newer power supply or adapter as it uses 8 pin connector for CPU Power Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/167182-recommend-your-motherboard/#findComment-1161184 Share on other sites
