There was an open source project at one time that allowed this, but it stopped working with Panther, to say nothing of Tiger. I don't think it was ever even working right to begin with. Yup, just share your windows drive or whatever, copies right over. I've had some strangeness though at times in dealing with Mac-based files (like dmgs and the like) in XP, on NTFS. For very specific Mac stuff like that I've been raring or zipping them first before transferring.
