t-mobile5-7-09.jpgIt doesn't sell them. It doesn't promote them. Apparently, however, T-Mobile will support them. The Consumerist is reporting today that a recent change left iPhone users on the T-Mobile network without voicemail. Worse, when someone tried to call an iPhone on the T-Mobile network, the system sent a blank text message. Unless the iPhone user had an unlimited text account, those little messages were costing money.

Several customers contacted Executive Customer Support and got a phone call that acknowledged the problem, and gave the customers a 1 month service credit.

T-Mobile, through a representative, said "T-Mobile, though they do not offer the iPhone, (but) they are committed to supporting users on their network who have them."

True to their word, within a day or two the problem was fixed.

Wow. Just wow.

I crossed my fingers that they would come to Verzion as well. Too bad the Droid had to be trolling. I also like how T-Mobile isn't all private and restrictive of unlocked phones on T-Mobile. Even though I'm not with T-Mobile, I hope it'll get to T-Mobile because here in the US, AT&T is hogging it all.

i don't thin so t mobile is the competitor but t mobile is the cheapest data. Apple would be better suited to try to market the free ipad as something that could be used in schools or could be used as a way to revolutionize how we read our news every morning.

Hello to all my Apple fanBoy brethren. I've had Tmo for years now so much infact that switched to at&t for the 32gb and switched back because the service was so bad ....But any-who i would love to see the iphone come to Tmo, it works flawlessly on the network, however 3g is still an issue,or nonexistent to more precise. But with WiFi it doesent matter.

T-Mobile UK are pretty swag. They are way too expensive

as for today that is definitly not true, unlimited internet for 3 month on a prepaid card is a 20 pound

that is good value, i can't judge network coverage since i haven't been outside built up areas but inside them i nearly always have 3g.

so my uk prepaid card is cheaper than my contract in germany
