However it is a reported problem that audio doesn't come back after sleep. Is there anything I can do to get sound back without a reboot? I also notice when I unplug my laptop and use the battery that the audio keeps making a click sound and the mute button stays orange... MacProUser83 Posted May 7, 2009 Share Posted May 7, 2009 just create a script that unload and load appleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext with automator. place the script in the dock and double click it when u wake up .. voila.
