Curious if anyone has tried it out yet. I've always loved GIMP, but I've always loved Photoshop as well. So far this appears to working great. Add in that's it free and you have a great combination.

I have tried it on Linux. Essentially it is the same good old Gimp. They have worked on menus, layout and terms used in it to make it more similar to Photoshop. I used it for some time, but then moved back to normal Gimp. Not a bad application if you are coming from Photoshop world.

seems to me you already have X11 (a newer version installed) did you install it when you installed OS X? Look in in /Applications/Utilities.

 

Otherwise you'll prolly need to load it from the 10.4.6 install disk. I had a similiar issue with Remote Desktop.

but it is not unibin is it, anyone try compling this, or maybe if you are feeling lucky, macGimp?
