Ethan94 Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 I have intel integrated graphics i845 aka 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV and the only resolution it will allow me to use is 1024x768 but I have a 26" widescreen tv I use it on so I was wondering how I could get it to show the other options. I believe the resolution should be either 1366x768 or 1280x720 Here's the specifics: VRAM (Total): 64 MB of shared system memory Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x2562 Revision ID: 0x0003 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ethan94 Posted April 13, 2009 Author Share Posted April 13, 2009 Hmm I installed them with kext helper, logged in as root, but it will still only let me choose 1024x768. Kext helper won't accept my root password when I'm on any other user account so that's why I had at relogin. I dunno if that is what caused the problem or not. Me too using same motherboard intel D845GVSR with integrated Intel 82845G/GL graphics controller. Is there any kext file available to enable quartz extreme on my desktop I use kalyway 10.5.1 & successfully upgraded to 10.5.2 detailed specs of my system intel P4 2.4GHz 1256MB RAM(1GB+256MB)DDR 266MHz intel D845GVSR Intel 82845G/GL graphics controller 80GB hard drive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
