some PLEAST HELP me on this. i installed deadmoo's os x86 on a partition and removed the AppleTPMACPI file with no problem. Then i tried to get the original CoreGraphics back to replace deadmoo's since im using an AMD 64 3000+ that supports SSE3. after i reboot, the system won't load anymore, it hangs at the gray screen with the apple logo.... -x -s -v won't work either. :( then i managed to put deadmoo's CoreGraphics back, and everything works again, no point to me. i can't use rosseta. anyone has a suggestion for me? thanks

Ok, so now everything works again but no rosetta?

Are you sure you have SSE3 on your CPU?

Download this program:

http://www.cpuid.org/download/cpu-z-130.zip

When you run it (need windows), it will tell you if your CPU supports SSE2 and SSE3.

If your system does not support SSE3, then you can use MaxxussSSE3to2 v.04 patch to get around that:

So you have a Venice core A64?

Anyway, if you are overwriting the file, make sure the permissions and ownership are correct.  I think it would be chown root:wheel and then chmod 755 (from memory).

That's right, it's venice core, and i did exactly the way you memtioned just like everyone else. but it just doesnt work for me somehow. is there any possibility that i might need addtional files or something to make it boot with the original CoreGraphics? i want rosetta to function! PLEASE HELP ME

We are, so please don't scream!

I've installed it on a few SSE3 systems before and they worked just fine with -only- replacing that file. So, double check the file and make sure you get the SSE3 one, if you did and it still isn't working, I don't know what to say. It works for others just fine and that is the only solution, sorry. Perhaps do a forum search for checksum and coregraphics to make sure you do have the right one.

If it magically only isn't working of you, wouldn't you want to just doublecheck things? Also, if you boot up with -v, does it spit out any errors?

again. ive tried everything, and it just wont work on my pc. im sure ive got the right CoreGraphics file. should i give up on trying? i think it will never work for me...

oh, and if use -v, it keeps telling me something like "INIT_Processeses(), could not establish the default connection to the windowServer." can someone tell me what this might means?
