i installed vmware fusion 2.0 on my hackintosh and before it finish installing, it ask me to restart the comp. after restarting, it ended up in a endless restart loop and cannot do anything. i was able to get into safe mode. so i uninstall and my comp works again.

anybody had encounter this problem? i searched the forum and on google and couldnt find a solution to it.

my system spec:

dell inspiron 8600 laptop

JAS intel OSX 10.4.8 updated to 10.4.11

2 gig ram

1 HDD with: vista partition 1

OSX partition 2

"stuff" partition 3 formatted at fat32 so i can share between vista and OSX.

ati mobility radeon 9600 vid card with x11/quartz enabled 1260 resolution

wireless card works under airport

sound card works out of the box

keyboard/trackpad works with 2 fingerscroll

do i need to prep vista's partition in order for vmware fusion to detect? it did not detect under bootcamp also. thanks all!
