highlift Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 hey Gals and Guys, trying to "test" this Jas build on my Dell D600. DVD starts up floawlessly, followed by OS Installation menus and usual garb. After I accept the license, i have to select a destination to install the OS. The field is BLANK I've tried FAT32, and even jsut deleting all the partitions off the drive. To no avail =( Suggestions? Comments? Queries? Paperclip Posted April 25, 2006 Share Posted April 25, 2006 Too bad SATA is not recognized (an external firewire drive "might" work) I had to add an ATA drive for that reason to a similar to a desktop computer. This one worked for me while installing OS X in HP DX5118.
