U.C. Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 Mac Laptops have a CHIP called the S-M-C(System Management Controller), thus the name SMCFanControl. PC's dont. Thus it doesnt work. Most laptops AFAIK use some controller chip or sometimes even the BIOS. But this is then out of SMCFanController's purview. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
