It has been made before. The funny thing is, I tried with my own dump from Knoppix, and got no errors, but no sound... But in Knoppix it said I got ALC889.. Anyone know why?

I have the same motherboard DFI LanParty DK P-45 T2RS and I cannot make it work. Can you please explain me how did you make your Sound Card work and can you please sand me proper kexts or what ever that will finally make it work. I sand you PM too.

I have this board and cannot get audio to work, I've tried Kalyway 10.5.2 and now iPC 10.5.6, the DFI Blood Iron has the same exact audio chipset, so the ktext from that should work with some modifications - I'd think any ways. I'm new to OSX and not sure what needs to be done. If ANYONE has gotten this working, PLEASE tell me how. Also, since I'm new to OSX, when I loaded the ktext it looked like it worked, I didn't get any errors. But I get no sound when I reboot and it's not showing an audio device. Am I going to need to remove any files? If so, which ones?
