  1. Running 10.6.2 with a Rocketfish micro BT dongle, I googled the heck out of this and didn't find any info here. I have 2 sets of bluetooth headphones, and both connect as a mono headset. What I'm wondering is does this dongle work with A2DP on SL? Maybe it doesn't and I'm wasting my time trying to get it working, but if it does and somebody here knows how I'm all ears.
  2. I'm stuck, I'm new to this whole Hackintosh thing so take it easy with me. I don't have this exact MB, I have the dfi lanparty p45-t2rs elite, it's very similar specs wise. I took my Snow Leopard retail Disc and used Disk Utility to create a DMG image from it, I formatted my 8 gig USB drive, 100 megs and the rest on the 2nd partition. GUID partitions for both. I restored the SL image to the 2nd drive, and followed this guide to a tee. Only thing I did not do is EFI my video card into the plist, I have a 4850 and lord knows I can't figure out what I need to do. I'm assuming since I set the resolution to 1024x768x16 in the graphicsmode I should be okay with whatever default SVGA drivers SL uses. Here is what happens. I have the IDE turned off in my BIOS and AHCI mode turned on. I can boot into my 10.5.6 fine. But, when I try to boot off the USB stick it starts loading, I see a bunch of stuff scrolling on the screen and I get really corupted graphics. Like to the point I can't even come close to making anything out. Since I have very limited OSX knowledge I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm guessing it's because I don't have this exact MB, and maybe the problem lies in the DSDT. The problem is I can't find a good guide for making my own. And like I said, I'm not even 100% sure that's the problem. My board does have the same chipset/wireless & audio. I dunno what all else is contained in the DSDT file. Anyone want to help me out here? I'm going to keep messing with it until I figure it out or somebody helps me. But like I said, I'm lost right now.
  3. Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I can't start a new one. I have 10.5.6 on my Hackintosh and a Veris IR receiver. Is there any way to get this to work? Google hasn't given me much useful info here. I have a Harmony One remote if that makes any difference.
  4. *BUMP* I have this board and cannot get audio to work, I've tried Kalyway 10.5.2 and now iPC 10.5.6, the DFI Blood Iron has the same exact audio chipset, so the ktext from that should work with some modifications - I'd think any ways. I'm new to OSX and not sure what needs to be done. If ANYONE has gotten this working, PLEASE tell me how. Also, since I'm new to OSX, when I loaded the ktext it looked like it worked, I didn't get any errors. But I get no sound when I reboot and it's not showing an audio device. Am I going to need to remove any files? If so, which ones?
  5. Hi, I'm new to this OSX thing and am having a world of problems here. I installed the Kalyway 10.5.2 and my system seems to work fine. I followed this guide to a tee and when 10.5.5 is installing I get a big "STOP" button on the screen telling me to reboot. I have done 3 clean installs of the Kalyway 10.5.2 and tried updating with that happening all 3 times. If I reboot, same thing, I cannot figure out what the problem is. Is this stop button/message a Kernel Panic? I tried a different hackintosh iDuben(sp?) which is based off 10.5.6 but my network card didn't work like it does on Kalyway, any ideas to help me? here's my specs C2D 2.33 on DFI Lanparty p45 TR2 Plus MB, trying to install OSX on a clean WD Black 1TB SATA drive. What am I doing wrong here? Like I said, I'm doing every step in the guide, I went from .2 to .3 to .4, for .5 I did the terminal and the sleep 1; + rm thing to delete the file quick. Not sure what the problem is coming from. Another question, I can't get Timemachine to work, so if I try to update to 10.5.5 again and have the same problem again, is there any way to get back to the OSX desktop without doing another install? thanks.
  6. Fully working audio for Realtek ALC885

I have a DFI Lanparty p45 T2-RS Plus, running 10.5.2, I downloaded the txt and tried 3 different versions of the AppleHDApatcher, none gave me an error. But when I reboot no output devices for sound are found. I just installed OSX today for the first time and am clueless what to do. Another poster with the same board said he got it working months ago. If he reads this, or anyone who can help me, GREAT!
