vectorskink
OK so I got everything working and decided to run the osx86 tools that came with ideneb 10.5.6 (v1.4). I selected the "detect and download drivers" (or something like that) and it went and found, I'm assuming, all the latest drivers for my hardware. After it did that it asked to reboot, which I did, but now it won't start - not even in safe mode. I get the "no smoking" sign as some people call it. in -v mode it complains about boot-uuid-media, that it's waiting for the root device??? Is it dead? Do I need to reinstall? Is this recoverable from here? Thanks heaps guys. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153684-help-osx86-tools-killed-my-install/ Share on other sites
westwaerts
if you installed something over a working system, there are a million reasons, what is wrong now. if you dont know, what you installed, its better to reinstall ( cause that end of the raod you know already) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153684-help-osx86-tools-killed-my-install/#findComment-1084512 Share on other sites
