Hi

I'm doing quite well - everything is working fine for me, no crashes or any other nasties.

I've got one niggly little problem which is driving me crackers though...

If I browse my XP partition from Mac OS, the "My Music" folder which is inside "My Documents" is not there. You cannot view it on the command line, nor can you view it in Finder. If I boot a Knoppix CD, the folder is indeed there and it is of course there inside Windows.

I know "My Music" is some kind of special Windows folder but this is a bit odd.

The reason I would like to access the My Music folder is so that I can use the same iTunes library on both 'machines'. On the Windows machine, you can move the music, but it leaves the library files in My Music at all times.

Sorry to invade with a triviality but does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers,

Steve

That is odd. On my machine I can get to the XP partition fine and see the music in the My Music Folder... XP SP2 and NTFS for that partition as well. So, I know this is not helpful, but it works fine in my situation... I go in via \Documents and Setting\My User\My Documents\My Music.

Yea that is a bit odd. Personally I dont use any of microsofts "my" folders either way. I guess you can just try moving the files?

I thought iTunes used that lame My Music folder to put its stuff in subfolders (by default).  Only reason I do it this way. hehe :)

yea they do it by default, but im quick to change that garbage. :)
