Use it for something more than playing games/watching movies, and you'll realize that Vista is pretty damn good OS. For you and for everybody who believes that Vista is not that bad: Vista used to crash beyond recovery on all my hardware for several month after the final release. On top of that I hate bloated operating systems. There was no need to change everything from XP. And I hate Vista default theme. I know, it can be changed, but the only alternative offered by MS is very ugly for the opposite reason. There are plenty of other reasons, just do a Google search. Besides there must be an explanation if Vista has been such a fiasco regarding sales, if every single person I know wants it replaced with XP, and if MS is rushing Windows 7. Perhaps, but Vista has never crashed on my computer with the exception of a BSoD that I purposefully induced on it. Likewise most of my friends agree that it's an improvement over XP. I'll agree that it's somewhat bloated, however, which is why I use TinyVista. <3 There was no need to change everything from XP. And I hate Vista default theme. I would hope that you do not think that Luna looks better than Basic or Aero. Very little was changed, actually. Besides the start menu's programs list (improved), Explorer's navigation toolbars (improved), and Control Panel's layout (improved, with an option to switch to the classic view) it's hardly different at all from XP as far as functionality goes.
