UnknownBadger
you can mount the disk image and install from it but you will have to use virtual machine. you could get virtual machine to install it directly to a partition instead of a virtual disk but i'd agree and say its better to boot from the disk nativley instead. Ashgotti
Hello, i'd also like to just mount and install because my thinkpad doesn't have a dvd burner. are there any guides to using vmware because I've never used it. Thanks a lot. Ash Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15138-can-i-mount-iso-and-install/#findComment-97061 Share on other sites

Ashgotti
I was just about to post that link too, found it after some searching. I'm pretty excited. One question tho. is vmware used to install OSX and that's it? or everytime i want to use OSX i have to do it thru vmware (thinking like emulation) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15138-can-i-mount-iso-and-install/#findComment-97075 Share on other sites
