svopp2000 Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Hi! I have posted before but insanelymac.com was realy slow so I don´t know if my post was saved. I have installed iPC 10.5.6 unpatched DVD and upgraded to kernel Voodoo XNU. All worked greate, then I updated Quicktime to 7.6. Then Mail stopped working and other apps. Appl... just crashes at start. Same error on all appl. I could not post any info from iPC disk. I have an other disk with iDeneb 10.5.5 what works.. Any ideas? svopp2000 Posted January 28, 2009 Author Share Posted January 28, 2009 I am using iPC OSx86 Final v1.1 just fine, fully updated with the latest QT v7.6 and the Voodoo XNU 9.5.0 kernel and everything is fine. ForestGuardian Posted January 28, 2009 Share Posted January 28, 2009 Not all "scurvy scallywags" will provide the most recent ISO build. Make sure the MD5 hash results match those posted in the iPC thread(s) and apply the appropriate update. There are 5 PPF patches to day. It's possible you've installed from a mis-patched ISO. Have installed iPC 10.5.6 Final with PPF5 and Voodoo XNU 1.1 after. and NVdarvin for Nvidia 8800 and installed seatbelt.kext from 10.5.5 DVD. All worked then suddenly all apps crashes. EXC_BAD_ADDRESS.
