shdwsclan
Ok. Basically, the Mac OS X installer creates a funky partition..... Im using the tutorial off of the wiki...... Partitioning into 3... 1 and 3 free....2 Mac osX extended..... Basically it creates a very funky partition that does not allow macdrive 6 to read it........ I tried partitioning it manually, and installing mac osx on that partition....but there was no luck...it wouldn't boot.... The partition looked like this in Fdisk... NTFS ~6mb free space HFS+ (af) 8mb free space *Partion 2 does net end on cylinder boundry. EXt3 Swap basically....it gives me an error in fdisk....sometime the computer gives an "invalid partition table" which has to be remidied by a complete shut off from power.... can this be remidied.... What installers do people use..... Mine is the myziso release..... My mainboard is i850..... shdwsclan
THIS FORUM IS COMPLETELY USELESS Why do I have to reply to my own posts. The version os macdrive i had did not read partitions within partitions........just updated to macdrive 6.1 and it works fine. roto
And it appears that you posted in the WRONG FORUM. This is the dual booting forum for MACs Let's see: You can't read, can't tell time, are very impatient, and rude. You will make someone a real catch someday. shdwsclan
"wrong forum" Well probably.....many things stay the same........ HFS Partition XP MacDrive Still the same on a mac.....so it doesnt matter..... AND YES, I DO HAVE A MAC, just not a crummy apple(i will not be controlled by IA-based sytem builders).... "You cant read" Dont know where that comes from......pointless comment.. "can tell time" Its was 11:25 in chicago when I posted... I doubt that whole population of internet users resides in california. Hell, ive posted at 12:00AM on the java forum and got a reply in 15 minutes.... I can tell time, but I've noticed that many Mac users dont even check their emails for weeks on end.....or go onto chat for about 30 minutes.... same goes for the impatience.... I guess in the mac world, people have loads of time to waste(huge dev void between os7 and 8), but in the real world that is not the case. "and rude. You will make someone a real catch someday." You must be female, because there is no possible way to convey personality through a forum..... As for spelling.....i type fast and dont look back... Ranma13
The forums are not chat rooms. Treating them like so only reflects on your own stupidity.
