Hello,

This is my very first post on this forum (sorry for my bad english please) and i decided to post here after about 5 days spending to get leopard work on my pc. I have tried all the versions of leopard dvd i've found on internet and all the ways i've known and discovered on internet but all it was in vain. I fear that my system won't wear that beautiful fur of the Leopard... The far as i cand get it was the apple boot logo with the spining circle... I really appreciate if someone would help me to find a solution. Here i will post my system specifications:

Thanx in advance!

Try to boot with -v optino (press F8 at boot) so you can give some detailed information.

Don't know your motherboard..

But when I succesfully intalled leopard on my P4 I used the Leo4all (10.5.2) distro...

now with a pc like yours (except motherboard) I could intall the leo, Jas, Iatkos and iPC (really like the last one)

Maybe you're choosing wrong drivers??

I would also suggest review which Customizations you are using, and sometimes it is better to check on the developer websites (ie for Leo4All check eddie11c posts to see customizations) and find the best for your own system.

Sometimes it is also a video driver that can cause this problem and sometimes it is a better option not to install any video drivers at all leading you to the normal 1024x768 view.

Also, at boot-up try using -v to see where and how this problem occurs, by the way the spinning circle problem is quite a common problem (after reboot), so maybe some googling to see some general ways to solve it. If you can't find a solution, then usually searching this forum is also a good idea.

Another idea if you haven't already is check the Wiki Compatability List for comp versions close to yours, you may then get an idea of exactly (roughly) which Leopard install version may work best. Unless ofcourse your version isn't on there...

Good Luck
