Ok guys so ive just build a new system with a asus p5q-vm matx mobo.

Intel q6600 processor with thermaltake blu orb 2 heatsink, all  in a antec p180 mini case.

 

I did also order sum thermal paste called Arctic silver 5, but didnt really think anything of it.

 

Now i did have an asus p5kc mobo with blue orb 2 and standard thermal greese in side

a huge thermaltake kandalf case. The CPU temperature then was around 40 degrees.

 

So i cant understand (not that i am complaining) how on earth the processor can only be on well

apparently atm 2 degrees. In the bios the highest ive seen it was 10 degrees.

 

Surly this cant be right ??
