davey_dj
Ok guys so ive just build a new system with a asus p5q-vm matx mobo. Intel q6600 processor with thermaltake blu orb 2 heatsink, all in a antec p180 mini case. I did also order sum thermal paste called Arctic silver 5, but didnt really think anything of it. Now i did have an asus p5kc mobo with blue orb 2 and standard thermal greese in side a huge thermaltake kandalf case. The CPU temperature then was around 40 degrees. So i cant understand (not that i am complaining) how on earth the processor can only be on well apparently atm 2 degrees. In the bios the highest ive seen it was 10 degrees. Surly this cant be right ?? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147365-cpu-at-2-degrees/ Share on other sites
.ShadowFox
That's some thermal paste. Yeah, it has got to be a problem with your BIOS. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/147365-cpu-at-2-degrees/#findComment-1069696 Share on other sites
iNoob
Sometimes my HD will show -1ºC. Ambient temperature: 28-32ºC. Something is truly wrong with your BIOS. Try updating it.
