I have a PowerMac G4 Quicksilver with a Geforce 2MX 32MB video card and I'm trying to run a 15" ADC studio display and a 15" VGA Sony display, both with the same resolution of 1024x768. But the problem is, OSX is only letting me use one display at once. If I have both plugged in, only the studio display works. If I have my Sony display plugged in first, and then I plug in the Studio display, it only detects the Sony. Also, I've gone into display preferences, and there's no "Detect Displays" button that I usually see on my Hack. I know some video cards only support mirroring, which I'm not too concerned about, but the problem is I can't even get the other display to work. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi!

The Quicksilver with Geforce 2 MX and 32MB video card doesn´t work with two displays at the same time. There are other Geforce 2 MX with 64MB of video memory that works with both displays at the same time. I remenber that apple called that as "Quicksilver with dual display support"

Kind regards

Hi, thanks for the reply!

So let me get this straight, the 32MB does not support two monitors at all or just mirroring? I looked around on some other sites, and from what I got from it at least, it seemed like the 32MB will at least support mirroring on two displays (one person claimed extended desktop, but it was probably the 64MB). Is this correct?
