FabricioGS
Now that working with Windows and Mac OS X on the same machine is a reality, I wonder if there´s any way to make a hardwre hack to switch the x1600 vga to a x1800 or x1900 mobility. I´m a frustraded Windows user who had 5 macs (3 iMacs and 2 iBooks) but i had to leave them because i´m a Visual Studio developer and Mac still doesn´t have my games. Anyway.. I´ll buy a iMac or a Mac Book Pro at the end of the year or probably wait 'till a new "Power Mac Intel version" but I think that the last option will be much more expensive and honestly I think iMac is the most elegante computer ever Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14644-just-a-dumb-question/ Share on other sites

c0nfused
(Be nice people... ^^) You can't hack your x1600 to an x1800 or x1900 because they do not share the same chipset. I'm assuming by "hack", you mean updating the BIOS. You may be able to hack an x1800XL to an x1800XT or a x1900GT to a x1900XT.
