Miran65 Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Hi all, Did anyone actually get sound to work with P5Q3 Deluxe Wifi-AP@n motherboard. I have tried all solutions for AppleHDA sound, but no go....The closest I get was that Intel High definition Audio was recognized (system profiler) showing audio devices, but I coud not get anz sound out of it. audio1.tiff audio2.tiff I have iDeneb v.1.3 10.5.5 OSx86 installed on: - Intel core duo E8500 - P5Q3 Deluxe Wifi-AP@n motherboard - Sapphire Toxic HD4850 graphic card - 4 GB RAM BTW - I have no drivers for graphic card either thanks for help.... Hi , if you have an ADI AD2000b soundchip there is an azalia kext, but it doesn´t work with applehda at the moment.... So Azalia kext covers also AD2000b soundchip, but it dosen't work with AppleHDA...Can you get any sound out at all with Azalia kext...can you use some other HDA iniciator? Miran Yes, I have sound, but only 1xstereo out, you can´t see it in system profiler, but you get a hd-output in your sound control panel. it´s the simple solution, I´m waiting for better support too... the problem is appleazalia can´t start on a 132 bootloader you must install it in the extensions folder of your system I have a boot 132 solution for asus p5q deluxe and everything runs from my usb stick, I have a original vanilla 10.5.6 system, but sound is the only thing I had to install directly in the system folder of my harddisk. If you need help I can send you appleazalia, you will have a stereo out then...I think it is better than nothing, isn´t it. Maybe we´ll get better support for ad2000b soon ! Greetings ! Hi Rocccky, I have the same motherboard as you (P5Q3 Deluxe Wifi-AP) I tried almost every osx86 distributions but only ipc 10.5.6 was possible to install but audio, lan, wifi are not working. My video card (ATI HD450) is recognized but the resolution only 1024x768??? Please could you help me? Then open itunes and play something, then go to system preferences and sound and select your desired output, bingo! Music maestro! The lan drivers for the marvell chipset are also on that thread, I still have no wifi tho (desperately looking!)
