NuMetaler
What about GTA Vice City? I would try to port it myself, but on launch it says it cannot find 640x480 video mode. I think something in the config has to be changed, can somebody give me a hint?
locoputo
What about GTA Vice City? I would try to port it myself, but on launch it says it cannot find 640x480 video mode. I think something in the config has to be changed, can somebody give me a hint? As far as I know a working cider of that is already floating around. As for the video settings, they are most probably in the game settings/config file, not in cider's config file
NuMetaler
Where is this special config file? The problem is, i cannot acces the game at all, so i cannot change resolution or graphics because of the reason, it says: Cannot find 640x480 video mode. Tommy A.
It would be nice to see any of the following titles on mac :-) 1) War Leaders: Clash of Nations Is the most comprehensive PC game of all times on the subject of the Second World War. A game that all strategy fans have been waiting for which allows you to slip in the roles of the seven most important real Leaders of the war and to control all determining aspects of a big war!!! Players can experience a gigantic variety of gameplay by playing two clearly differentiated but integrated MANAGER part (a turn-based MANAGER part with construction of armies, development of technology, establishment of diplomatic and trading agreements, etc ) & an RTS part (dramatic and visually amazing RTS battles, with hundreds of units in wonderful landscapes staged all around the world with very innovative game mechanics ). The game offers 250 different units, 41 different maps, all the nations and 175 regions along the entire world to explore and use. 2.) Gothic 2 Gothic II is a 3D role-playing action game set in a medieval world filled with hidden dangers and forgotten treasures. Battle against a swarming host of orcs, dragons and other mythical creatures. Experience three different character classes by selecting a career in the militia, mercenary or sorcerer guilds. Use alchemy to create magical elements, like runes, scrolls, and potions that you can use in your quest to fight evil. Few games offer as many options and unlimited freedom of action as Gothic II. Deadly threats and undreamt-of riches, powerful foes and loyal allies all await you in this epic role-playing action adventure. 3.) Hidden and Dangerous 2 Is a first and third person tactical shooter that builds upon the tremendous success of its predecessor. With its unique blend of action, strategy and tactics, Hidden and Dangerous 2 will test gamers' commanding skills, with more than 20 complex missions over nine different campaigns. Individual operations take place in locations throughout the world, from the lush jungles of Burma to the harsh deserts of Africa. Hidden and Dangerous 2 will feature multiplayer modes including Cooperative and Deathmatch play, with the option to play as Axis forces. 4.) Hitman Blood Money The fourth in the chilling Hitman series featuring the cold-blooded killer Agent 47. Finding that members of his contract agency, The ICA, are now being quietly (and mortally) eliminated, Agent 47 suspects a larger organization is moving in. Fearing he may be the next target, he heads to America. His jobs now will pay in straight-up cash -- and how he spends the money will affect what weapons he has and what he does next. The developer added new gameplay systems, such as the concepts of notoriety and of blood money. The new Notoriety system means that anyone causing a bloodbath worthy of front page news is risking being recognised by civilians and guards in the future. Blood Money lets players spend their earnings on fully customisable precision weapons and specialist equipment, or they can buy additional information upon the targets and location at hand, to aid a successful and professional hit. You guys are doing a great job in porting all those sweet games for us. It's much appreciated. Would be nice to have one of the games for mac.. Dee S. 73
Microprose GP500 its an old game but with skinpacks it can be updated to current Motogp season with a very high quality texture/model pack. It is the GTR of bike sim.......good (moddable) physics and control feedback...surely better than the whole MotoGP "modern" game series. tried to port it myself but got some problems... The game needs a old forcefeedback dll to work in XP systems, the iforce2.dll in a "specific" release (that dll was in dx6 way back) and the game update is mandatory too. If needed i can send them along with some other resource about gp500 exe.
