nesman
Specs are below.. I can boot into Leopard fine, using Kalyway 10.5.2 but I can't change the resolution or use QE/CI. There are so many ways of getting these things to work, I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions?
nesman
I'm thinking of using iATKOS 10.5.5 instead of Kalyway and then use aquamac's nvidia driver for 9000 series installer. Hopefully this will work, any other suggestions?
Donw35
I used NVinstaller v.52.pkg after install iATKOS 10.5.5 and have full QE/CI, google NVinstaller v.52.pkg and you will find it.
nesman
well the iATKOS 10.5.5 doesn't work with my setup, tried all the combos and nothing. Is there anyway to get the 9800 GT working with Kalyway, at the very least Kalyway makes it to the desktop, just no QE/CI or resolution change. MaaseyRacer
Search for a DFE on this site. There is a resource guide that has a link to all the kext files you are going to need for a retail install. You will need: A Retail Leopard CD Grub-dfe.iso PC-EFI v9 dsdt.aml OSX86 Tools Search around for boot132/DFE guides there are a ton on this site. Once you have OSX running and upgraded to 10.5.6. Run OSX86 Tools and select the EFI strings option. Click on the GFX strings button. Scroll down to the bottom of the graphics cards lists and select Custom GeForce. Enter the information for your card. Then select Import String to Boot editor. Also this should work with any other OSX86 install, it just seems the retail installs are more reliable than the packaged installs.
