Moveteam
Hello! I have downloaded Mac OS X image, from Seedler.com. Now I have an AMD Athlon XP2400+ CPU, 256 MB RAM, 60 GB HDD, ATI Radeon 7000 32 MB pc. I install VMWare, and boot directly from the ISO image. After that I can chose to install OS X. I do so, after that the Apple logo come. Then say VMware, the guest operating system has been disabled, and so came there a error message from OS X (I believe?), where there is writing: Panic error, and a lot of others hexidecimals! I have tried 2 different images, and the do both the same. I will soon purchase a ASUS M6Va, with an Intel Centrino, Pentium M 2,0 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB HDD, ATI Radeon X700 128 MB. Can I install Mac OS X in VMWare, when I have the Intel CPU? Can I get a step for step guide from you? And both OS X Images was patched! Sorry, my bad english, but I come from Denmark, and I am 13 years old!! Thank you for helping!! Best Regards Jakob Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14381-mac-os-x-in-vmware/ Share on other sites

yan
Hi you, Not only am I from Denmark as well, but my name is also Jacob. Anyway, to learn how to install OS X natively via vmWare, read this guide: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11314 Cheers Hey Jacob , i am new in the forum, I am from Brazil I have get the same installation experience, ( the kernel panic messagem ). The unique solution that I can figurate out for this is: (1) Download some virtual ISO-CDROM emulation software, just like Alcohool 120%, or Daemoon. It is easy in emule ( hehe ) (2) load the MAC OS ISO file in the virtual CDROM, created by Alcohool 120 % ( in my case ) (3) Configure the VMWARE, and make it to read the MAC OS from the virtual CDROM ( created by the ISO emulator software) (4) try to install the MAC Os in some where. This is just a basic installation idea. If you cant go on with this, just call me back. I will try to write this with more detail My Congratuation For You. Not just for your 13 years old, but very more because your corage to try this hacking task. This is very good !! Best Regard, and Have a Good Day Yan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/14381-mac-os-x-in-vmware/#findComment-153335 Share on other sites
