loserpro2
in customise, select the following - intel CPU flag = 1 (makes it think that there is one cpu or something, its required on particular and most intel cpus to make it work) - 256 Nvidia graphics driver (if it doesn't work, search on the forum for 9300gs supporting driver as the new macbooks now use nvidia chips) - wi-fi should be left with default settings, unless there is a driver that supports your wifi, then you will need to install that driver. customise is important in the install process as it tells the mac install program to install which of the correct drivers and kexts for mac to work properly on your particular laptop/desktop. i wished my X200 didn't use the Intel Chipset. it kinda sucks. I also have an SL500 but I can never get it to install. As soon as I have it boot to the DVD the computer restarts. edit: never mind. I just re-read the title. Still any details will be helpful. I tried Kalyway and iPC and got the same results. darkman088
Hello, long time nothing in this topic. Did you make it work? I also have SL500, just with a bigger hard drive and the same nVidia 9300. When I try to boot from the installation DVD it is showing a few lines of loading some things and it hangs then, quite at the very beginning. Now I made it work in VM Ware, for the first time in my life I have a quite functional Mac :-D Just no sound and stuck at 1024x768... So, let me know how far you are...?
