OK so I want to build a MAC PRO CLONE: My 1st one!!

This is the list of things that I want to buy but I need to know if it will all work together 1st and if I can even run OSX Leopard or Mac OS X 10.5.1 on this set up. If you could let me know what you think I need to change and or add it would help tones I am going to have this as my main studio computer and I will be running PRO TOOL 8 and REASON 4.0 and this is going to be the only thing that I do on this M.P.C. (MAC PRO CLONE) lol

Thanks let me know what you think!

I am sorry but you are waiting everybody else to do searching for you? There are thousands of posts here and you donot want to search for nothing.

And one thing:you are talking about a motherboard for Amd processor with an intel quad core processor.

Next time give more attention and obay the rules of being helpfull not a pain in the.....

I recommend Gigabyte mobo - very good OSX86 compatability - like GA-EP45-DS3P - forget AMD CPUs (too slow).

Faster vid card - at least 7600GT, but 8800 series minimum is better

Samsung F1 HDDs might have reliability issues - see the reviews on NewEgg - I recommend WD Black 1TB (Fast, quiet & RELIABLE).

Go with a SATA optical drive - OSX86 is difficult (impossible?) to intall off IDE

Logysis power supply? Not familiar with their quality - maybe consider a better brand?

Just my $0.10
