Hi!

I installed iDeneb 10.5.5 on my HP 8530w.

All working good, (Almost) but my machine goTo sleep and wake up, internal LCD work only half dimm.

The FN key (FN+F9, F10) brightness controls not (newer) working in OSX. (Only FN+F11 Light Sensor ON/OFF work.) (I probe to disable in bios but my problem is same.)

All software solution (Brightnesscontrol, FN SwappKeys, etc...) not working. Only control the brightness DOWN :)

DSDT patch never worked this machine, i probe on Linux, Windows, Osx, but always get ERROR. and not compile with - without -f.

Please help!

Also:

If i start the machine NVdarwin load and i have QE/CI ResSwitch, etc, but graphics effect is choppy, slow. (and many glitches when use screensaver, OpenGL progs..)

I use the displaysleep trick(set up top left corner to sleep display(only display)) and wake up the screen, all effect good like the velvet :)

What wrong???

Anybody same problem?

Thanks!

you still can wake up after the machine goes into sleep in OSx? My 8530W would hang if entering sleep.

Also, did your QE/CI work? I could see CI works as "Software" but QE is marked as not supported.

BTW, in your leopard, did the scrolling works in your touch pad? Me struggling...
