user555
im currently running kalyway 10.5.2 is there anyway for us amd users out there to update to a newer version then what we have? ive seen stuff all over the place for intel update to but it seems that they dont work for amd... ive actually tried a couple of them for intel based only and yes they are definitly right about it being intel only.. so if someone wants to direct me to a place where i can find a way to update this version to the newest it would be greatly apperciated... im trying to get little things such as my ipod to read when i plug it in and well it seems it doesnt work, perhaps a newer version would?.... worth a try righ ? Snerler
so basically if i go with this vanilla voodoo kernel if all goes well i can just use the software updater used through apple???!? thanks for info btw. Thats what I did to update from 10.5.5 to 10.5.6. For previous updates I was able to use the AMD software update program, but that does not work for 10.5.6. Also I think you have to use your old seatbelt.kext with 10.5.6 or you get kernel panics when mounting dmgs.
