Seepositive
After trying After a little bit of thought and the information that the original poster offered, I spent a few minutes looking around the PCI UTILS website to see if there were any ALC888 drivers kicking around as the OSx86Tools install didn't pick up my chipset. After some thought I installed the following: http://######.com/index.php?option=...4&Itemid=48 Much props to PCwiz for all of the wonderful work that he does for the community. Please note, I installed only the audio kexts. Do take care as this package could potentially pooch your system if you were to use anything other than the audio install. My mobo is a GA-MA770-DS3. pylonman
I had the same problem, but I finally fixed it. Reboot into your test partition, use the program, Kext Helper b7 and install the kexts (ALCinject.kext and AppleHDA.kext) again. Reboot into your working partition and it should work. Since I have a Gigabyte P35C-DS3R, I used the Kexts from a OS10.4 "P35-DS3x Package" I got from somewhere. Try using Google. I'm having the same problem, tried driver from OSX86 Tools, but no success. Do I have to delete any old kexts? Tried deleting ALCInject, but no success. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
