I was just watching a program called Fast Money on CNBC and there was a report made that

Most likely due to health issues Steve Jobs will not be taking the stage at all at Macworld in January 2009.

Apple has also announced that this will be their last year at Macworld.

According to the show that will re-air at 11pm CST Apple is already down 5% because of the announcement.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

No, this part of an obvious plot to manipulate that price Apple stock (and then I assume to buy it cheap).

Apple stock has been under attack for a few days now and it obviously is coordinated (... I am sure it is "linked to al-Qaeda too, just like Goldman Sachs is).

Yes, I find it very interesting the SEC lets these Wall St. clowns defraud public investors in broad daylight like this.

One more thing... try reading credible news sources before parroting corporate criminal media whores:

Macworld without ...Macs? ...some kind of joke?

'AppleWorld' in future perhaps, since Apple's fortune is increasingly tied to MP3 players, DVRs and cellphones.

Hey, it's a conscious decision on SJ's part to subjugate the Mac in the grander scheme of things in favor of gadgets over computers, but it's hard to criticize the guy since he, more than anybody else, really knows what Apple's potential actually is.

If SJ thinks the Mac should be marginalized, then that's the reality. He is Apple, after all.

this news scared me a little at first, but after all we always have the wwdc, that is far more interesting.

it's just advertising, no tecnicall stuff

but let's hope it's not a step forward to a drop of mac computers, especially OS X development
