jon12346 Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 ok so...i have the iTAKOS 5i Leopard 10.5.5 and got that onto a DVD and im trying to Boot it. turn off my laptop and turn it on with the DVD in it. got me to a black screen saying press enter to intall Mac OS X and i press enter and than it say, cant find something so it wont let me boot the DVD so i click the other option which is f8 and i press that and it lead me to another screen and give me one option, press enter for running the DVD but it still come up with the missing boot thing. im a big noob so i need help pleaseee. thank you. osx86 Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 to install iatkos on the hp notebook, you will need a flash drive with the hp addons for the darwin/x86 bootloader & to get past the black screen you will need to press f8 then -v & read the error then type it in on google.
