ok so...i have the iTAKOS 5i Leopard 10.5.5 and got that onto a DVD and im trying to Boot it.

turn off my laptop and turn it on with the DVD in it.

got me to a black screen saying press enter to intall Mac OS X and i press enter and than it say, cant find something so it wont let me boot the DVD so i click the other option which is f8 and i press that and it lead me to another screen and give me one option, press enter for running the DVD but it still come up with the missing boot thing.

im a big noob so i need help pleaseee.

i got the HP G50 112NR

RAM 3gb

Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3200 2.00 GHz 2 Cores

 

so i decided to restart and do it again and here is what it say on the black screen.

so that dont work i press F8 and it lead me to another page saying this

i press enter on that and it show me what i type up there.

to install iatkos on the hp notebook, you will need a flash drive with the hp addons for the darwin/x86 bootloader & to get past the black screen you will need to press f8 then -v & read the error then type it in on google.

 

If the error is "unable to take control from bios", reboot then wait like 20 mins for the real installer to load then install EVERY driver except the vga drivers. those drivers cause the bug!
