cdummy
Hello. I have 2 Nvidia Video cards.GeForce 5200 FX vendor ID 10de and Device ID 0322 and GeForce 6200 Vendor ID 10de Device ID 0221. When I have install them in my asrock Asrock 775Dual-915GL with SSE3 with 10.5.5 they both support CI/QE and IDs are showing in System Profiler. When I install them in my asrock P4i65G with 2.8 SSE2 CPU they show proper IDs but CI software support and no support for QE. Is this caused by SSE2? Anybody has any idea or directs me to proper discussion in forum? Thanks for help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140441-ciqe-nvidia/ Share on other sites

cdummy
I installed NVinject. Using OSX tools I can enable Quartz GL But CI stays software and QE not supported. If You read the posts You can see that people have a lot of problems with CI/QE with SSE2 kernel. Itried oder distros and 10.4.9 gives me support for CI/QE looks like I have to stick to this. Thank s for pointing me to OSX tools. I tied whole install with Titan.kext but system boots up with screen in blue squares and mouse is one of them. I never had big luck with Titan. From all my reads last week I see that CI/QE depends from SSE2 kernel not sure which one I should install. The only working one I had in 10.4.9 release.
